Matthew Linley. Ardsley. 08 March 1847. 23 years. The above four {including Samuel and his brothers Isaac and Matthew} were of the numbers of the most unfortunate 73 persons who lost their lives in the Oaks Coal Mine at Ardsley on the fifth: Friday last about 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
